Listen: Night Moves, "Headlights"

Check out the recently released single, "Headlights," from Minneapolis based Night Moves. The three piece, comprised of John Peiant (vocals/guitar), Micky Alfano (bass), and Mark Ritsema (multi-instrumentalist), recently hooked up with producer Thom Monahan (Vetiver, Devendra Banhart) and signed with Domino Records. Their debut album, Colored Emotions, is due out October 9th. In the meantime, have a listen to their retro-fitted single--a soulful throwback to the twangy psych-pop (straight down to the album cover) one might expect to stumble upon unearthing old 45s from the seventies. It's bright, with clean production, and stunning vocal work by Peiant. This is one for the road trip you're about to take with friends--enjoy.
