Album Stream: TOY

TOY is a five-piece band from London with all the hype a young group could hope for. Pegged by Rhys Webb of The Horrors as "the most exciting band to come out [in 2011]," and [his] favourite band for 2012," their first single sold out in less than 24 hours. The band formed in 2012 when Singer/Guitarist Tom Dougall, guitarist Dominic O'Dair, bassist Maxim Barron, joined with drummer Charlie Salvidge, & keyboardist Alejandra Diez. Their self-titled debut was released in the UK on September 10th through Heavenly Records, and their style is a fearless mix of psychedelic rock, electronic textures, post-punk heaviness, and the experimentation of early electronic music.
