Green Street

Because we all need a little more jazz in our lives:

Artist: Grant Green
Album: Green Street
Year: 1961
Label: Blue Note

An incredibly relaxing jazz guitar album to throw on the record player on a a late Saturday night or an early Sunday morning. Grant Green is one of the all-time great jazz guitarists, and this is a great place to start checking out his catalogue. I've been listening to this album almost every evening when I return from a long day at work and need to chill out. Enjoy.

Track Listing:
No. 1 Green Street
'Round About Midnight
Grant's Dimensions
Green With Envy
Alone Together

What a surprising[(ly) amazing] recommendation. Not only did I soothe myself into soporific self-contemplation while listening, but I also may have inadvertently caused a lady friend to think I'm a hip, jazz connoisseur (which will pay dividends when the next date with her rolls around). So, thanks T!

Haha, that's awesome dude! I'm curious to hear about your second date! You'll have to throw on a different album next time-I'd go with something by Duke Ellington...
