Kuky Tala is the artist formerly known as
Tigermilk (and the woman known as Paulina Tala). Her eclectic, worldly version of freak-folk is beautifully produced, exceedingly lush and, at times, disconcertingly intense. Nonetheless, these are two beautiful tracks that showcase an extremely talented woman and musician. "Turi" is Tala's latest, while "Talátur" is an earlier release under the name
Tigermilk. And while she may be a woman newly christened, her music remains as lovely as ever. Thanks to
